How do I make a Java Chip Frap. like the ones from Starbucks?!


Question: I love coffee and I am tired of Paying 5 bucks for a Java chip frap from starbuck.. So can you help me make one at home? I don't know WHat I need... other then chocolate covered coffee beans and ice...

i used to work for Starbucks... basically:

you have to mix really strong coffee (use 2 cups of water for about 8 cups worth of grinds)...mix with heavy cream and about a cup of sugar (they call this frap mix.. and no...its not good for you)... then after you have this mix, blend with ice, and about a handful of coffee beans. If you want a mocha-java-chip frapp, then you have to add mocha too. There is no way to completely re-create the frap because the mix is proprietary...but I would guess this is the best method!

í think you put the ice in the blender add your some chocolate, then your coffee, and creamer or milk whichever you take. Blend until smooth probably.
