How do I get my work mate to make the tea?!

Question: I've dropped lots of hints but they never understand?

Any good advice?

I'd wait till they have fallen asleep because they are obviously lazy then write "Make the B****y tea sometimes will you, you lazy git", in permanent marker on their forehead.
They'll never forget then!!

Bribes-cold hard cash, my friend.

They understand alright.

Make horrible tea twice in a row

Hints are no good. You need to speak directly to them, without getting angry and tell them that they are not taking their turn. They may sulk for a while but will get over it.

If they won't help make it, then move it so that you are the only one that has access to it. If they can't do the work, they should not enjoy the benefits.

Put an empty teapot, a kettle and a handful of teabags on their desk. With anote saying "Thanks xx".

Do what we did - draw them a map from their desk to the kettle ...and instructions on how to make tea .....worked for us ..1

Post a note in the area. "Please feel free to make tea when there isn't any"

Some people are just like that... be thankful you're not one of them.

Make only enough for yourself from now on. Let them make their own.

Be blunt during a conversation and ask him or her why they don't make tea. Depending on the response if you can, go out and buy tea or just make it for yourself and no one else. Let every man fend for themself. You're not trying to be rude you've just had enough of it! Am I right? Since some people are trying to be selfish.

I had the same problem at work with the coffee. Every day I would come in and the pot would be empty. So I would make some and get to working. Then when I came back a bit later to get a cup the pot would be empty again! It happened enough so I just stopped drinking it. I figured they could make their own from now on. I just drink water at work now.
