okay seriously....old wives tale.
this is called an urban legend, which states that years ago, the kid tv star named Mikey did this and died when his stomache exploded....completely false, seeing as he was seen in several more commercials after this false rumor was passed around...it gets recycled with something new every few years.

It′s and old legend but there's some true behind it. There's going to be a lot more gas released. Not enough to explode your innards but enough to make you burp a lot.
okay here's the thing:
i hear about a kid who had a mentos and a coke together and basically the combination exploded inside his stomach and killed him.
the same thing would probably be true for pop rocks...so i suggest not trying it.
you feel alot of pressure in your stomach and sometimes it comes out your nose. unpleasant feeling. wouldn't recommend it
I saw a show on T.V. where the CEO of the company that makes pop rocks drank pop rocks and coke, and he was just fine. He did it just to prove that point.
