How do jolly ranchers Melt??? Not in the heat... i the cold house for a long time?!

Question: telllllllll mmeeeeeeeeeeee

Answers: telllllllll mmeeeeeeeeeeee

They get gooey on the outside, I think its more of age thing rather then a melting thing.

when it gets wet, it softens.

They don't melt, but the sugar will eventually dissolve (as it does in your mouth).

they get old, and kind of expire.

and maybe they got wet somehow.

i melted some in cold jello once

I bought some to keep at work with me. Took a few out of the bag and left the rest in the bag. Only the ones out of the bag got all gooey. My office can get very humid. The moist air is what "melts" the candy.
