Do you notice any difference if you scald the coffee beans or not?!
Answers: Personally i think this is a load of twaddle, please correct me if im wrong.
In my experience the coffee has a thinner, harsher and more bitter taste.If you like your coffee like that, and some do, then of course this seems like a load of twaddle to you..or perhaps you simply haven't been given any scalded coffee yet.
Basically i heard that if you scald the beans you release some of the volatile components in the beans and will make you coffee taste bitter.
