i didn't know you had to winterize your coffee maker. where did you hear this? hmmm do tell!

Now is the time to use it!

Just pour a shot of whiskey per cup (into coffee)

If you have to winterize your coffee maker, you probably need a better house. Start there.

Didn't know you could winterize a coffee maker!

Not sure what you're after but try this...put in a filter and run a solution of white vinegar and water (50-50) through the pot as if you were making coffee. When it is done, run plain water through again and you will have a nice, fresh system...

I saw that episode. They have a link on their website. I went to it and it says" to winterize your coffee system use caulk around every crevice/opening. Let it dry overnight and then brew a pot. Your coffee will cease to lose heat and will stay hot and fresh for hours. Repeat this procedure about once every 3 years."
I hope this helps, I have already done mine and the results are worth the effort. Good luck.

autumise your c,maker and also summerized your coffee beans too, before you can have a spring of brewed coffee to perk you up as winter rise.
