Does anyone else have their coffee machine on a timer?!
It's set for 1 hour before I wake & 1 hour after I leave the house. (in case I'm late!)
It's a great smell to wake up to & no waiting.
Answers: Mine is plugged into one of those timer plugs that you use to fool burglars, with the lights going on & off when you're away.

Mine has one built in and use it all the time when I have to wake early. Your idea is great for those that don't have that feature. Good job. Coffee smells are better than an alarm clock lol. I think so too
Since a lot of coffee makers are made with a timer built in, I'm sure a lot of people have their coffee brewing set on a timer. I set it up the night before to brew just before I get up in the morning. It has it's own shut-off timer built in. What's the point of setting to to brew a full hour before you get up, and an hour AFTER you leave the house? Electricity is a natural resource... you might want to give that some thought and re-set your timer. You can still smell it if it's brewed 10 minuntes before you get up. Set it to go off BEFORE you leave the house. You're not usually an hour late, are you? After makes no sense.
Yes mine is set to come on at 5am.
It goes off by itself in 2 hours.
That is a good idea. We have an automatic machine so it is a little simpler...
My coffee pot goes off at 5 am every morning!
My coffee pot goes off 10 min after i wake so by the time I'm out of bed (if i press snooze) or the shower the great aroma of coffee greets me :)
