Does a regular coffee at starbucks really cost $5?!
tell the truth...does it really cost that much for a cup?
Answers: i've seen people list that price in their answers and I was just wondering it really cost that much or are people just exaggerating?

It's $1.40 - $1.70 depending on the size here. You also have to remember that it probably fluctuates with the different geographic locations.
$1.30
It costs me 5 or 6 dollars for a good tall cup of Latte.
a regular drip coffee with no frilly stuff is actually under $2.
No it's about $3.50
I would not be surprised. i pay about four and half dollars for a frap. I live in the quad cities ( Bettendorf, davenport Iowa and Moline, Rock Island ILL) closest big city would be Chicago
no I dont think so... then again depends what size your getting
Yes, in Australia.
depends of the size, but yeah something along those lines.
I think it's definitely worth it though, love Starbucks!
My husband drinks it and is excessively frugal with his money. I am sure it doesn't cost that much unless it is a "specialized coffee". If the regular coffee cost that much, I can promise, my husband would never step foot in the door. He doesn't even buy anything at the grocery store without a coupon.
EDIT: Detroit, MI
where I'm at a tall cost about 260, grande 350 and a venti is 400! it is expensive i try to minimize my consummation, by buying canned coffee that's like 1.30.
With you sitting there, using your "laptop." and taking up all
the space. It may be an "inticement," to move on, and let
someone who is hungry have a seat. <}:-})
$2.50 in Califonia unless ur in L.A
at my starbucks, a medium coffee is 1.85 or 1.89 before tax. The large is 10 cents more.
I don't know about the regular coffee, but the frappuccino where I'm located costs PHP120 for tall, 130 for grande, 140 for venti. (USD1 = PHP46)
Regular coffee is a couple of bucks. I don't care for Starbucks so I couldn't tell you their exact price.
I think Shimmer means consumption?
Regular drip coffee is $1.60
Capp., Latte.....$3.50-$4.20
For a regular plain cup of joe, No.
But then again, NOBODY orders a plain cup at Charbucks. Some because it would not impress anybody, (As all around you yell out orders like 'Double frapadadpado with 3 shot creamed banana over light cream blend whipped no bubbles and a splenda').
But most because it is undrinkable...I can Burn coffee at home much cheaper.
