Does water expire?!

Question: like the due date like food?

Answers: like the due date like food?

Yes and no. Water left in light will expire in a couple of years. Usually one year longer than the printed on bottle expiration date. Water kept in the dark will last much longer; sometimes up to 5 years.

TRIVIA ALERT: The nice thing about the curved bottles is that they actually fight the formation of spoilage of water. The Romans discovered this thousands of years ago. That is why Roman water reservoirs, pools, and any container for water has no sharp angles. Sharp angles attract mold. Smooth curves foment the formation of mold. And, hence, modern bottles fight mold. Having a dark environment extends this battle.

Water in light is good for two years (assuming a curved bottle or container). Water in the dark is good much longer.

Bottled water expires. Usually about 2 years after bottling.

no water dose not expire

it does actually. That's why there are expiry dates on mineral water bottles. When i drank water that was lilke 2 weeks old from my water bottle, I got some indigestion. Haha.

I would say that bottled water would have an indefinite use date.

I think they put that on there for the freshness and taste. I would say no. Ask yourself this, if you were dying of thirst would you drink the water that had an expired due date?

I absolutely agree with Alex A..........
Yes it does eventually expire........

uhhh no.............its recycled.
