How many vegetarians are you cooking for on Thanksgiving?!
I don't want anyone to change anything for me, I am going to fill my plate completely with sweet potato casseroe anyways.
Answers: and what are you changing for them?

I'm a vegan so there is very little Thanksgiving fare, even among side dishes, that I can eat assuming traditional preparation methods. So I am bringing my own food so I don't put anyone out. I ordered dishes from my fave Vegan restaurant for myself and my boyfriend and then I am bringing hummus and pie to share with everyone. And then I have a little get together this weekend with the other side of the family for which I am making a tofu/corbread stuffing casserole with some gravy. Yummmmm....
So that way everyone wins. I get to eat, hosts don't feel pressure, and non-veggies can sample a glorious variety of vegan food!
Just one and we're not preparing anything special, she always says not too, there is plenty there that she can eat.
I will have four guests that are vegetarian. They are guests every year so nothing will be changed. They can eat anything they want without fear of ridicule or judgement. They can have some turkey if they want or just the veggie casseroles and pies. It's a time for friends and family not food debates.
17, well, not thanksgiving, for Christmas day. I think about half are veggies, maybe less.
My parents are cooking, and I eat everything but the turkey pretty much! =]
Well it will just be hubby and myself. We are having bbq ribs, 3 bean salad, corn on the cob, and some steamed mixed veggies.
I'm not the one hosting Thanksgiving but I will be taking a side dish and a dessert. In my family I'm the only veggie! I haven't made any special requests either... there's no need since I love all the sides! I'm really looking forward to the corn bread casserole!! And the pumpkin flan I'll be bringing!
Happy Thanksgiving!!
Thanksgiving doesn't have to be a problem with Vegetarians in attendance.
At our table there's usually only one meat item anyways...the Turkey. Well, also the gravy, but that's in a bowl on the side.
The stuffing, we make sure to make using vegetable broth instead of chicken or turkey broth. It works out pretty well...if you season it decently enough (thyme, rosemary, tarragon, onion, etc), then the meat-eaters don't even notice the difference.
Not very many. It's just my hubby, son, and I this Thanksgiving.
Zero. :) I don't cook and I decided to work for holiday pay instead. :)
Just bring me a candy cane...
