What do Vegetarians eat today...since they don't eat meat...???!

Question: Just curious.....

Answers: Just curious.....

I dont know.. Not a "freaking bird!" apparently.

whatever i want

Food.
Rice and shiz.

anything other than meat

Tofurkey!:)

corn and fries

Whatever the hell they want.
You don't HAVE to eat a freakin' bird.

Great food that hasn't been pumped full of steroids.

Cheese lasagna
Zucchini casserole
Mushroom quiche

I'm not sure what they eat.

Bring On The Meat!!!!!

Well, there's no meat in the pies, for starters. Rice pilaf, yams, green beans with onions, hummus dip with toasted French bread, olives, cranberry sauce, celery with cheese spread, etc.

Everything else.

-mashed potatoes
-squash
-dressing (my mother cooks some outside the turkey for me)
-pumpkin pie
-yams
-mushroom gravy

Anything but Tofurky!

anything we want (except meat) duh!

If your talking about today being Thanksgiving...TOFURKY ROAST is awesome! It's baked for a good hour and a half, comes with gravy that is also vegetarian. I've had it for the last couple of years and my family always has a little, in addition to their real turkey. They all enjoy it. It's amazingly good and I would recommend to anyone trying to rid their body of all that cholesterol and animal by-products.

Sometimes I get mad at some Americans because they assume just because I'm a vegeterian, all I eat is salads all day.

My whole family is vegeterian, it's our religion (hinduism). We don't believe in killing animals and eating meat.

But my mom does make nice vegeterian Indian food, with no meat at all. Such as rice and curries... And sometimes I like to eat American school food without getting the meat items. :)

Butter garlic Tofurky
Yams
Garlic Mashed potatos
Green bean cassarole
whole wheat herb and cornbread stuffing
cornbread
corn
cranberry orange relish
apple pie
pumpkin pie
dinner roles
carrots

Some vegetarians eat "tofurky" turkey made from tofu. I've never tried it. I eat the side dishes, ie my moms broccoli casserole, mashed potato's, veggie plate, and cranberry sauce. It's plenty for me. It's not all about turkey. =]

Food, usually.

wotever they want. wot percentage of your diet is meat? theres loads of stuff

I don't understand your question.
What do you mean by "today"?

....oh, okay, I see from other questions/answers elsewhere, it's thanksgiving in the country where you live.

Don't forget, the internet is international.
Anyway... today I eat as I normally eat as it's not any kind of holiday or special day where I live.

But if it were a traditional meat eating holiday then I'd just make some non-meat dishes. You do realize that the traditional Thanksgiving feast was a "harvest feast". That is, crop foods are the centrepiece of all dishes. The turkey's involvement in the holiday has been exaggerated over the years.

Today for dinner I'm having unchicken nuggets, baked yams, mashed potatoes, lots of veggies, cranberry sauce, biscuits, and pie of course :)

OH , they eat meat .. .trust me . . . many, many "cheat" today.
