I Am An Animal - Did you watch it ?!

Question: It was interesting about how Ingrid Newkirk said she doesn't understand why she is so worried about the welfare of animals. She said she never asked for it, it just was always there.
She said she was born with it.
And she said she could almost see what an animal is feeling just by its body posture and looking into its eyes. Maybe some people are just more in-tune with animals than other people.

Very interesting! ?

Yes! It is most defiantly my new favorite movie! She is such an amazing woman.

No, I didn't but how does she really know what they are thinking. How do you know she isn't making it up? They can't exacty speak for themselves and tell her that she's wrong.

No, I saw it as a new release on blockbuster.com and added it to my queue. I look forward to watching it. I'm indifferent on PETA, although I do appreciate the convenience of all the information that's compiled into one spot & I can appreciate what they do and what they stand for.

I don't think it's so much being in tune, it's just like my dog or my cats. I know if one is pissed or hurt or scared. When you have daily interaction with animals, whether they're your own pets or at a shelter, you learn to notice their reactions to things & you know what they mean. They're not very different from babies.. except they're much cuter ;)

Arrogant for her tho think that she was born with this 'special power" to empathize with animals. A clear case of messaih complex usually followed by total dillusion and insanity.
