Is it hard to be a vegan or a vegitarian?!

Question: Depends on what your reasoning is. If you're wishy washy & have a hard time with social pressure, it can be hard. If you are firm in your beliefs, it's pretty easy.

yes, mainly because im a butcher

do you mean which one is harder?????
i am a vegetarian
if you are a vegan it is harder to watch out for what you eat

I've been a vegetarian since 1995 and I find it extremely easy and I am a professional eater.

Not if you're committed to learning about proper nutrition and love to cook your own meals.

Nah..I know lot of our Japanese dishes have meat and seafood and they eat meat in Australia but I just eat less of them, just take out meat in your food if its small or feed it to the cat or dog, you know a lot of animals are dying for our food and eventually will be extinct.

Ah I knew a site that had something that made me guilty.. will try to add it on but if you really wanna be a vegetarian or vegan, then put your mind to it.

Becoming a vegetarian was not hard for me because meat was always making me sick. The hardest part is finding a replacement source of protein. I eat cottage cheese all of the time as a protein source. I think it would be much harder to be a vegan and I've never done it. There are very few restaurants that serve vegans and I would have a really hard time giving up chocolate.

If you stick to it, it's not hard. If you give into temptations, it's very difficult.

Go with your blood type! "EAT RIGHT FOR YOUR BLOOD TYPE" , Is Amazing! Makes so much sense too me! TRY And See! Good luck!

nope. it's fun.

If you find substitutes for your usual food, its really easy. If you try to drop everything without figuring out what you're going to eat besides lettuce, its hard for a couple of days, and then you'll most likely go right back to eating meat/dairy/eggs.

I've bee vegetarian since mid year and at first I found it hard but I loved it then and I still love it now because I know I'm making a difference for the better. If I ever feel like abondoning my veggie ways I just think about the animals that I would be eating and know straight away that it just wouldnt be right also if I were to eat an animal I'ld feel guilty straight away.

It's an adjustment, but eventually you will learn what you can and cannot have and where to find great vegan substitutes for the foods you used to eat as an omnivore. Yes, I confess, I love the analogues. But if it makes it easier for people to eat vegan, that's a good thing.

It also depends on where you live. If you live in a large metropolitan area, it's easier than if you live in a rural southern area.

It has been for me. It's not hard for me to not eat meat as I find it disgusting, but it's hard for me because at times I want myself to want to eat meat. Sometimes I get tired of having morals, and I get tired of just not liking foods that the majority of people like., and sometimes I just wish things were the way they used to be when everything that tasted good was food, and that was that.
But things change. I changed, and now I have to deal with those changes. Nothing worth doing is easy, they say.

Not really, unless you happen to live on a cattle farm.

not at all :D

Why would people even do that. I can't live without my food food not no fake tofu and yucky stuff.
