its a persimmon

I'm not sure, but maybe moon cakes?

i have no clue, but i do love Asian pears.

persimmon

What's the texture of the fruit? Hard to tell with what you said but could be any of the following: persimmon, "chesa", passion fruit. "santol" (a common fruit from the Philippines and Thailand).

My vote is for a persimmon too.
Here is a picture so you can be sure:

Some persimmons are more flat than this one, it depends on the variety, but they all look pretty much like that

omg i love those; but i dont know what they're called either =/

ohh ohkay, i'll agree with some people and say persimmon :)

its possible its a kumquat. kumquats are native to parts of asia, take a look here and see if thats what youre looking for. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kumquat

or possible a satsuma which is popular in china and japan (where its called mikan) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mikan

or lastly as posters above said it could be a persimmon, also natice to parts of asia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persimmon

hope its one of these!

Is it a Dragonfruit? Or a pomello? There's also a mangosteen? They're all great. Hey, even better if you're vegetarian - have you tried a thing called a 'Kulaway Nut'...it's extremely nutritious; you drink the milk and eat the flesh - the flesh of the fruit is a fantastic alternative to meat....

it is granadine fruit which resembles passion fruit.
