Do you think vegetables [in india] are contaminated with pesticides? Can't we get natural vegetables?!

Question: anymore to eat?

Answers: anymore to eat?

The growers of vegetables on commercial scale apply insecticides / pesticides indiscriminately to protect their crops and ensure good profits. While purchasing veg. form market, we always get residual pesticides.Sadly there is no escape from it, except washing the veg. profusely in water before cooking and keep our fingers crossed.Vegetable free of any pesticide is available only in rural area where individual small growers, growing them in backyards cannot afford the expenditure of pesticides.

No. I'm from India, I've eaten food there, and I grow vegetables there. I can assure you that food is not contaminated with pesticides. Pesticides grows out of a lack of clean nutrients in the GROUND. India is somewhat dirty, but in pollution of the air.

Then the plants would be "contaminated" with fungus, bacteria, or pests. If your income relied on the farm's harvest, and in one week it all got infected, there goes your life's savings. There's no win-win.

yes you can grow then in your home Yard....

Sorry i live in Europe,n i got no idea how the vegetables r available there.

Dunno, I hope not.
