Fellow flexitarians?!

Question: How often do you eat meat?

Answers: How often do you eat meat?

About 3 times a week as an entre maybe more. My life doesn't revolve around food foraging. I enjoy good food.. Mostly fish, seafood and poultry just by preference, but a great steak, prime rib, lamb or goat on the rare occasion when i just have a taste for it. Oh yes ... Reported Anna J and that Liz broad for you..

are you really a vegetarian, or even partially, if you eat meat, even if its here and there?
I guess a "flextitarian" is someone who cannot commit?

Before I decided to drop the meat out of my diet completely, I was eating meat once a week. Usually on a night when we planned a family, sit down, meal on Sunday night.

On weekends when I visit my parents or parents in law. I'll also eat meat when eating out on weekends, but only if I really feel like it. I do eat fish during the week.

I'm not a flexitarian, but I eat red meat about once a month,
, fish about one every 6 months, chicken/pork 1 every 1/2 weeks and at the moment a little meat found in stir fired rice from the canteen as I'm working in china about one a day. the other 2 meals are veg*n plus I reported Eliz J for you.

My wife is a flexitarian I guess and she eats red meat about twice a week.
Some of you who are so p.o'd at flex and call him troll, you are taking this forum waaaay to seriously...

Jenny I know Flexi's answers are boring and his homophobia sickening, but he actually does do one clever thing. He's taking the piss out of the 'flexitarians' too, and they don't seem to realise it - see his profile, he says 'I only wear leather on Mondays and Thursdays'.

I'd like to be completely vegetarian(not vegan love my dairy and eggs too much.) some day. I'm one of those people who needs to take it slowly. Sorry if this upsets the die hards out there that think you need to quit cold turkey or that just cutting some meat out of your diet is not good enough. Since I started changing my diet 3 wks ago I've eaten meat once. I had a cpl of slices of turkey for Thanksgiving. My meat portions have always been extremely small anyway. My favorite foods are vegetables and fruits.

Edit: I'm sorry if you eat meat once a wk you are not really making any sacrifice. Going almost a month now that's sacrifice.

what exactly IS a flexitarian?
either your veg, or your not. pick one, and commit. stop calling yurself something your not

Well, I don't eat much red meat just because I don't have a taste for it that often. I do down in Argentina where they have great beef and much of the cuisine is beef based.

Mostly I like seafood and have that as often as I can, but I also like a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables just because. Don't sweat meals, just eat what I like, but I cut out the heavy sauces and fats for health reasons, but they aren't missed.

Life is to short to deny yourself what you enjoy in moderation.

Just because the profile is a joke doesnt mean you cant take a question seriously... seems like a ligit question to me. I am pretty inconsistant, usually raw fish, once a month or so. I had some deer meat chili the other day as a special deer season exception.

you are immoral.

6-7 times per week and usually not more than 3 times per day.

How dare you people ask about his witts and his oppinion.

I agree with Elizabeth. Flexitarian... you answer so many questions on here with the same claim... just mainly stating that you're a flexitarian. You don't even make any attempt at humour (at least it doesn't appear that you do) and you don't really insult anyone either so as a troll, I don't understand your purpose. I would dislike you, as I do all trolls, but to be honest I just feel sorry for you... you've answered nearly every question I come across in this forum, yet you have no real effect. I hope your questions gain a bit more of a reaction from people. Good luck :o)

Sorry I didn't answer your question, how rude of me. Well, in my flexitarian days, I would eat meat with almost every meal so that was 2-3 times a day.
