Can vegetarians eat cheese?!
Oh yeah and can they eat eggs, or do cows get hurt whilst producing eggs? Apparently everything time they lay a egg their bladder hurts and their fur goes??
Answers: Or is it made out of cows fat!?

Cheese is made from milk. Lacto-vegetarians and lacto-ovo-vegetarians do drink milk and/or eat dairy products. The thing to watch out for with cheese is rennet, which comes from the lining of calves' stomachs and is used to coagulate cheese. Vegetarians look for rennetless cheeses or those coagulated with vegetable rennet. Eggs are also eaten by some vegetarians on the grounds that they do not result from the death of an animal (they are unfertilized so do not even have the potential to become live animals.)
Please note that cows, as mammals, do not produce eggs. Chickens, however, are quite hideously abused in the pursuit of eggs for human consumption (as are the cows that produce milk.)
I don't think cows get hurt while laying eggs...I don't think cows lay eggs as I'm fairly certain chickens lay eggs.
Anyway, as a vegetarian you can eat eggs and cheese it is the vegan diet that abstains from these things.
Cheese contains quite a bit of fat but it's milk fat...still okay for vegetarians to eat.
yes. lacto ovo vegetarians eat both eggs and cheese.
Eat what makes you happy.
There are different types of vegetarians the ovo-lacto type does consume eggs, milk and products made from each, not including meat, including cheese. Vegans on the other hand will not consume food that is made from anything coming from an animal including eggs, milk, cheese etc. If you are concerned about this or aren't sure what you think about the production of cheese or eggs do some research.... if you don't' want to eat regular cheese there is always the soy cheese option...
Milk and eggs are okay for a vegetarian, as the animal is not terminated in order to harvest milk or eggs.
As a side note eggs come from chickens.
just eat the vegetables and leave the cow chicken alone
Im a Vegetarian and I eat cheese and all the other Vegetarians I know eat cheese and you dont harm a cow because you milk it for its milk! Only Vegans arent allowed to eat Cheese because it comes from an animal!
ya vegetarians are allowed to eat cheese. Only Vegans can't.
cheese and other dairy are typically the element that seperates vegans from vegetarians. as a vegetarian, i still consume mass ammounts of cheese, as well as eggs and butter, but i always buy my dairy at specialty stores like trader joes or central market. not that it changes the fact that these items were procured from critters... but maybe the critters have a healthier existence...
They do eat them, but some cheese contains rennet (the stomach of slaughtered newly-born calves), especially proccessed ones like feta etc... so I always check the labels on cheeses and practically everything else I eat cause you never know when something has got hidden animal products in!!!!
A vegetarian diet focuses on plants for food. These include fruits, vegetables, dried beans and peas, grains, seeds and nuts. There is no single type of vegetarian diet. Instead, vegetarian eating patterns usually fall into the following groups:
The vegan diet, which excludes all meat and animal products
The lacto vegetarian diet, which includes plant foods plus dairy products
The lacto-ovo vegetarian diet, which includes both dairy products and eggs
People who follow vegetarian diets can get all the nutrients they need. However, they must be careful to eat a wide variety of foods to meet their nutritional needs. Nutrients vegetarians may need to focus on include protein, iron, calcium, zinc and vitamin B12.
cheese is made out cows milk
and yeah they can ... vegans can't though
omg and COWS DON'T LAY EGGS .... chickens do
sweetie, brush up on the farm animals, cows produce MILK chikens lay EGGS
vegetarians drink milk and eat eggs and cheese.
vegans dont
Smedrik; That′s a cop-out answer. Cows are only kept alive as long as they produce milk. Once a cow starts to lose it′s productivity it is destroyed. It′s nothing personal, farming is a business, but your view is that it is okay whilst it′s alive, but after that it doesn′t matter.
vegitarians can eat cheese and milk
maybe eggs
VEGANS are the ppl who dont eat cheese milk OR eggs.
got it?
My goat eats cheese and so do I . My wife has cheese on her taco.
I only eat cheese made from chicken milk.
how is cow FAT meat?

if vegetarians didnt eat FAT we would all die because our body needs some FAT to live
