Does sunflower oil contain phytoestrogens?!

Just about anything that contains protien contains some level of phytoestrogens (including meat) just some things have higher levels than others. Sunflower oil has a fair amount, but not the level of say, soy or flaxseed oil. You really need to have very high levels of phytoestrogens to see any effect from them. It shouldnt be a giant worry unless you are having soy and flaxseed in every meal. i hope that helps.

Ok, from the internet it seems that sunflower seeds do contain phytoestrogens, but if these are pass into the oil is another question. Can't help you any more.

If you are asking because you are planning to avoid these phytoestrogens, then forget about it. They are in 'everything'. They are natural and as humans we are designed to digest these. So, if you have any worries, you may not stop worrying.
