Onions because they don't give me body odor like garlic. Even then, I try to limit my onion consumption to Friday night and Saturdays, so that my system is clean for the work week. I work in offices. Oh, and never raw onions. They make my breath stink.

garlic. i loooove it!

garlic...i hate onions

onions, gives it more flavor....

Onions, I like them better than garlic

Garlic. . .I'm scared of vampires!!!!

I love both but I give the edge to garlic.

Both are great sauteed. Nothing makes me hungrier than the smell of these two on the pan.

Garlic when I'm cooking but obviously raw onion is better than raw garlic in a salad or on a sandwich.

Collins---don't cry..."K" speaks very highly of you!

garlic because it has more antioxidant value and actually tastes better!

Garlic

Because..............onion makes me cry

Edit :
Heeeerrrreeee's Cookie me : Who's "k" ?
What does "k" say??

Both actually...great sauteed along with peppers n morrell or portabello mushrooms... onions must be sweet onions for me...plus garlic is good for you.

I prefer not one over the other for both compliment each other all too well. There is nothing sweeter then the smell of garlic and onion sauteing in EVOO.

Garlic, probably. Although they go so nicely together. :)

garlic cause im not crazy bout onions that are raw eek!
Garlic can be used for so many foods..i usually use more than most ppl would like but yes garlic is the best!

I love them both. But there are some dishes that garlic goes well in that you really can't use onions in.
