I guess it's not a food question, but does anyone know where I can find a cruelty free full length coat?!

Question: I saw a woman today with a wool full length jacket with fur trim and thought to myself - That looks WARM....but I don't like wool and fur for obvious reasons (well, obvious to some). I tried searching on the internet, maybe I'm not using the right terms...but does anyone know where I can find a long, warm, cruelty free coat?

Yes, there are many long winter coats that are animal-free.
Here are some from LL Bean and Lands End:

great

One thought on wool.

It's cruler to NOT shear the sheep.

My winter coat is a trench from express, plastics and a really warm liner.

Liners are easy. Faux-fur, polyester fleece and polyester pile all have the same plush texture, feel and look of real fur but they are all artificial. The outer layer is a bit more difficult. You might have to go with faux-suede or acrylic. I have a nylon/pile jacket and it keeps me nice and warm. It is a ski jacket though, so that's probably not what you want.

I'm not sure whether fashion or warmth is your higher priority, but if it's warmth, you can wear any old jacket and layer underneath with polar fleece to be pretty warm. Don't wear cotton.

With fleece, you get what you pay for. Don't buy any cheap fleece stuff, because they are rough, not too warm, and will break down quickly.
