Guinnesss , because "its good for you "
Its difficult to pin point just one or two good foods. I try to eat well. Lots of fruit and veg, good fats (like oily fish, omega 3 etc) Its about having lots of anti-oxidants to fight free-radicals in your body which can cause cancer and inflammation and premature aging. What you should do is read lots of good books on nutrition or search on the internet. If you type a name such as benefits of.... then the fruit/veg/meat into google, over time you can gain a deeper understanding of nutrition and how different foods and vitamins work together to keep you healthy. It is something that you could learn more about for ever. I have done lots of research on this and its fascinating. x
From what I've researched, green leafy vegetables - collards, kale, romaine, spinach, mustard greens, turnip greens, etc. - have the most nutrients. . .they have pretty much everything, right down to omega 3's which is often overlooked when talking about green leafy vegetables.
Also, I find that sea plants. . .seaweed. . .have an abundance of nutrients. They are high in everything. . .even calcium. . .and b-12. . .and it would make sense to eat them because 80% of our bodies are chemically composed like the ocean. . .and seaweed soaks in all the vitamins and minerals of the ocean. . .
Blueberries have been named one of the most nutritious foods according to mens health magazine.
They are all nutritious.
Just keep in the mind that you want lean cuts of meat (cuts down on the saturated fat) and that you want 100% whole grains (won't cause a spike in your sugar levels in the your body...over time this can lead to diabetes if you eat refined carbs a lot).
For a carnivore, herbivore, omnivore or weirdo vegan?
By weight, meat packs the biggest nutritional punch. You are getting B-vitamins (namely B-12), CoQ10, protein, selenium, iron, copper, zinc, and a host of other trace minerals and vitamins just in one simple 2-3 oz. serving of beef. You would need to eat two or three times as much soy to get the same result...and that is considering by benefit of the doubt that the soy product is fortified.
