wimps who cant catch there own meat have to grow plants

At least my dinner has a chance of getting away.

There is no for and against in terms of health.

A balance diet that either contains meat or just plant food sources is as healthy as each other as long as you have a healthy lifestyle, ie no junk food, you keep fit and you eat the correct amounts of Caros, fat and proteins.

On a moral note the vegetarianism is meant to be more moral than one having meat in it based on the human values of morality.

There ARE arguments in terms of health.

24% less death from heart disease. (see source)

Argument for:
It is wrong to kill humans... so why is it OK to kill animals? Because they're a different species? But why does that matter? They're still sentient beings (they have consciousness - since they can see and hear things, they must have consciousness). Because they're less intelligent? But does that make it OK to kill mentally retarded humans?

There should never be any arguments.

You want to be a spark in the minds of others.

You DO NOT want to win any arguments even if you are 100% right. Arguing just pushes people further away from considering a more compassionate lifestyle.

Here's one my meat loving mother recently told me: A doctor friend of hers told her that he has never done colon cancer removal surgery on a vegetarian. As in all his patients were meat eaters!! This isn't cold hard proof of anything, just an observation sparked by my mom mentioning my vegetarianism!
