I like a thin slice of onion and tomato slices in my sandwich. A little brown mustard is good too. I like swiss, cheddar or american. Or some combination thereof. I've had it with brie and apple slices too. Sounds wierd, but it was very good.

Sourdough with sharp cheddar

You can cut up small pieces of vegan ham or bacon, tomato, peppers, etc to put in it.

One person I know actually puts ham and pineapple in it.

I like Cheddar or American with a little pepperjack to make it spicy.

Check out this link and it will give you ideas for cheeses, breads etc. Also includes similar sandwiches.

Redwood's vegan mature chedder with sliced onion and tomato... mmmmm

Or if you are vegan use either soy cheese or rice cheese, veganaise (non-dairy mayo), Avocado mashed up as a spread or sliced, and sprouts on either 100% Whole Wheat bread or 100% Whole Grain. Put a pinch of salt in there and it is really good. At least I like it. You can do that cold too.

I personally like Pepper Jack on mine. Adds a tad of spice.

Triple cheese with fries, coleslaw and tomatoes- a triple cheese panini is delicious- I make it all the time!

an open baguet with cheese, tomatoe, a little bit of ceasar salad dressing or onion spices it up 2 :):):) yum
