Two slices of whole grain bread or your favorite. Now mash up an avocado with a little lime, shave some lettuce really fine, some grated carrots and any vegetables that you like. It is my sons favorite but he eats dairy, eggs, and fish so mayo is on the bread.

lettuce, tomato, and cheese. good even w.o bread.

Make a wholesome carrot sandwich.

use something with cheese in it -- a great source of protein if you're a lacto-vegetarian.

cucumbers, alfalfa sprouts and some soy cream cheese

tahini and sesame seeds with jam

peanut butter and jam

grilled portabella mushrooms with italian seasoning

egg and lettuce
curried egg
cheese and tomato
cream cheese carrot and lettuce
cucumber lettuce and cheese
onion tomato and cheese
cream cheese onions and tomato
grilled zuchini and cream cheese
lettuce cheese and mayo
cheese lettuce cucumber and mustard

Take a good grain bread and put a little mayo on it , cover it with some sunflower seeds, sliced apple and cheddar cheese. Toast. It is soooo good. You can add sprouts under the cheese also if you so desire.

cucumber sandwhich with alittle salt. absolutly lovley. x

Not just for Vegeterians... ground chickpeas and tahini, layered with avocado, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, cilantro and cheddar cheese

instead of ground chicpeas, you can use hummus, my vegetarian friend also eats peanut buter and honey in pita bread

Fried tofu is good on sandwiches or rolls, with lettuce and sweet chili sauce; sliced roast pumpkin, pine nuts, feta cheese and baby spinach is a good filling.

Cucmber, lettuce, avocado and hearts of palm. They're all easly available at any store. But the key is... the dressing... that maks all the difference... get a nice vegetarian dressing and you can make any sandwich and you'll love it.
My favorite is simply bread and avocado.

BREAD AND LETTICE WOOOOOOOOOOO

mayonnaise
lettuce
cheese
cucumber

Get some pita bread and stuff it with all the veggies you do like and add some hummus

Cheese and strawberries.
Cheese and honey. YUM YUM
Cheese and blueberries.

cheese, peanut butter, jam, melted cheese, nutella, pickles, not all combined of course.

Try this on wheat bread:
A slice (or two) of provolone cheese, mayo or vegan mayo, lettuce, cucumbers and marinated artichoke hearts. it's really good.

go to a sandwich place thaat you can pick & choose what you want on your bread.

Go to Subway!! I'm a big fan of theirs now

No chick peas? No hummus? That's too bad, it's awesome in a sandwich.

Take some firm tofu (not silken). Squeeze the water out. Slice it thin. Now you can marinate it, but you don't have to (try the "faken" recipe if you need a marinade idea). Soy sauce is good to marinate it in, or whatever you want. Then fry it up in a frying pan until it's crispy. You can store this in the fridge in a air tight container and put these slices on your sandwich with any of the following: cheese, mayo, pickles, green onions, sesame seeds, pickled jalapenos, alfalfa sprouts, salt and pepper, chili flakes....

Different kinds of bread can add variety too. Try toasting the bread first, it makes a nice crunch.

okay my favorite vegetarian sandwich is..

whole wheat bread
lettuce
black olives
pickles
jalape?o
american cheese
and mayo spread
