Can vegetarians eat brown starfish?!
Answers: well, they already eat tossed salads....
NO. you NEVER do ATM!
If they want. It doesn't sound good and then they wouldn't be vegetarian anymore.
umm...I have never known starfish to be particularly edible...but if they are, they are not vegetarian...they are an animal, not a fruit or veggie
I don't know about brown ones, but I've had a couple of chocolate starfish that were particularly good tasting!
it depends on the type of vegetarian you are. for example, i'm a lacto-ovo vegetarian, so i can have dairy products and eggs. other types include:
lacto - only dairy products
ovo - only eggs
pisco - can eat seafood (i think this is the one you're looking for)
Personally I think they can, but would hope that the starfish was freshly showered!
Easy has got it.
"It doesn't sound good and then they wouldn't be vegetarian anymore."---my eyes are welling up with tears of joy....LOL
Brown and chocolate starfish are a good source of vitamin B12!
o_O a poor starfish
Wow. I can't believe they really don't get it.
I don't know if I can defend my V&V family on this one.
Yes-and tubesteak and bearded clams, if they want to.
Not if the owner of the brown starfish is a meat eater.
Starfish are Echinoderms.
Echinoderms are animals.
Vegetarians don't eat animals, it's doesn't matter what color they are.
Is this some kind of joke?
