smugness.

well you can say that there are alot but, you have to watch out because you need a bit of everything in your body, like proteins and you need to know what food thats not meat have that sort of things

Health. Some people would cite benevolence to the animal population. Other's might feel better knowing their life did not depend on another life.

One good side benefit is being able to cook a mean dinner free of animal products and having meat-eating friends over who devour everything in sight and ask for recipes!

Also, as you are asking for an opinion, there is no right or wrong answer.

*Less risk of heart disease when you are older.
*Less risk of cancer.
*More efficient, less land is used for vegetables than for livestock....something to consider with high a higher need of food for our overpopulated world.
*Important way of raising children to be compassionate.

Not eating an animal that suffered to be someones dinner.

You become more in tact with god because you dont kill animals and combine it with your body and blood just think of the bread and blood of christ i would know im in catholic school thats all they really teach you '' SAINT ROSE OF LIMA'' FAR ROCKAWAY.

Hmm. My vegetarian experience is sucking, so I don't know. lol

Oh, and let me say- giving up meat is not a magical cure all. My fibromyalgia is no better, my blood pressure is still too high, and it certainly hasn't helped my depression.

The one positive I can say for certain is there is less guilt in being a vegetarian. If you're prone to guilt over eating animals- which I was.

I lost 50 pounds. I had more energy, was happier and never again craved McDonalds!

The satisfaction of knowing that you are saving about 100 animals each year.

well i feel good im not eating a living animal tht cries and hurts,

i feel fresh and re enegerezied

and im getting skinny
and its good for the world
