Smucker's makes a natural peanut butter and it contains peanuts and salt. They also make an organic peanut butter that contains organic roasted peanuts, 1% or less of salt.

Smucker's also makes an organic strawberry preserve that contains organic sugar, organic strawberries, fruit pectin, citric acid.

WHAT KIND OF BREAD ARE YOU USING IF YOUR A VEGAN?

Natural peanut butter and jelly with bread w/no eggs, butter or milk/other dairy is vegan

Not sure of some of the mass market peanut butters.

well jelly is made from fruit and peanut butter is made from peanuts. So yes it is vegan.

yea,
just make sure you get bread without eggs or honey

yes or maybe (depends on what kind it is)

I think it will depend. I would think that the peanut butter would have to be natural. If not some of the oils may contain byproducts. The same is with the jelly or preserves. I would think that some of the sugar may contain sugar that has been filtered through bone char.

Good luck!

In UK - Jelly is Gelatin ( jello ? I think thats the US brand equivalent) - so its not vegetarian or vegan

But I think that your meaning of Jelly is "Jam" in the UK- so that should be vegan unless they put something nasty in it.

It depends on the brand and what you buy. Here's hidden non-vegan ingredients:

BREAD - might have eggs, whey or honey in it
JELLY - some aren't just fruit, some have added white sugar, which is most often filtered through animal bone char
PEANUT BUTTER - might have same non-vegan white sugar in it

I'd suggest reading ingredient labels carefully and choosing products with the least amount of preservatives or ingredients. Peanut butter should be no more than just peanuts, though I prefer to buy mine with salt already added in. Real peanut butter needs to be stirred since oil seperates and pools on top.

yeah it is

i know it's vegetarian but vegan...i think so just have to make sure nothing has eggs

If there are any animal products at all, it isn't vegan. It has nothing to do with the number of ingredients.

Pb&J is most likely not vegan, as bread is made with eggs and milk usually.

According to Dictionary.com the definition of vegan =
–noun a vegetarian who omits all animal products from the diet.

As long as the bread is not made using milk or eggs it is vegan.

I don't understand either.. the only thing I can see is IF your bread had dairy or Eggs in it.
P is Vegan & So is J(it is made with fruit pectin not gelatin) Maybe the way the sugar in the J was processed(bone char) but if you use a fruit sweeten J that would take care of that too.

Slainté (to your health)

The number of ingredients in something doesn't matter.

It depends if the jelly, pb, and bread is vegan

Common non vegan ingredients in bread
-whey
-mono and di-glycerides
-honey (in wheat bread)
-butter (in butter top bread)
- eggs (unusual)

Jelly and PB
- a lot of sugar is refined with bone char and so may not be vegan. If you care concerned call the particular company
