Trying to Become a Vegetarian, Need Tips!?!

Question: I tried to become a vegetarian a few months ago but failed.

I'm trying again starting today, I really hate the way animals are being killed, I mean it's horrible that humans are eating them this way it's like they have no heart at all for animals.

The products I still will eat are cheese, eggs and milk.

But the eggs will be from the Free run chickens.

I also never wear fur and try to avoid tested on animal products

Any tips on what things I can order or buy as a vegetarian?

Cheerios! =D

One thing I know for a fact is that when you stop eating meat then you have to find an alternative protein replacement. Nuts and pulses (lentils, chick peas, beans etc) are a great source and are very versatile to use in soups, stews etc. Just make sure that whatever food you stop eating you must find a suitable vitamin, carb, protein etc replacement.

I went veg for a brief time a couple years ago. It was very difficult and I gained some serious respect for vegans/vegetarians as result. My advice to you would be to make the transition slowly. Over the course of weeks or months. I decided one day to be vegetarian and quickly found myself in over my head. Good luck!

If you really really wanted to know because you feel so strongly then looklng on the net could be a good idea

eating fake meat is a good transition.
it's like the real thing, so you don't miss it too much.
after a while, you can start to wean yourself off of that if you want to.
be careful with the "free range eggs", sometimes they are only labeled that when the chickens really still have horrible lives.
