Can you still properly be called a vegan if you do this?!
OK. Vegans don't eat or use anything that comes from an animal. So they wouldn't eat eggs, drink milk, eat anything made from the bone marrow or enzymes found in animals stomachs, or anything else that is similar to this. Humans are animals. So if a person purposefully ingested the body fluids of another person, whatever those body fluids happened to be, then would the person doing that not be a vegan? I know that they could rightfully still claim to be a vegetarian if it was certain body fluids but maybe not others, but what about being a vegan?
Is this so far fetched a question that nobody even has considered it, those of you who are vegan?
Answers: I received a violation notice for this question. Apparently someone didn't like the way it was phrased or thought it was a joke, even though I said I was serious and explained I was a vegetarian myself but not a vegan, and that someone had asked me a specific question about vegans which I didn't know how to properly answer.

no...
would a vegan breastfeed her child--even though the child would be ingesting an "animal prodict" ie: breastmilk? yes, they would--because its natural and the way humans are meant to feed their own babies.
no that doesn't count. because you aren't eating it and whatever it is you are swallowing was given willingly. if you bit a chunk out of a random person, then that would count and it would be not vegan. but i assume that is not what you are talking about.
I guess technically that would not be considered a vegan act, but what an odd question to ask!
we always joke that people is people not meat!
I guess it depends on what types of bodily fluids you mean, but like human BLOOD (eww!!) yeah i dont think you would be a vegetarian lol, b/c i know a great majority "vegetarians" dont eat red meat b/c of the blood amount.
that's actually a really interesting question. i don't know the answer, but i don't think many people think of stuff like that. i think that it all comes down to why someone became a vegan in the first place. i'm a vegetarian too!
It depends on if you see humans as being animals. I don't think thats the intention of being vegan but I would have to say it would be against the rules. This has been a running joke and topic of discussion in many music scenes in which vegans are prevalent.
I'm a vegan. Whenever I have ingested the body fluids of another person it has been with their consent. Their enthusiastic consent. Nothing else you list has been obtained with the consent of the creature whence it came. That's the difference.
That's an awesome question! Okay, I'm a vegan, and by "fluids" i'm going to go with the thought of "sex",.
I personally am not a very very strict vegan, i dont view it as a religion like some do, which is fine for them!
I mean, if i notice my health is sufereing because of a lack of omega atty acid, and im too broke to buy a veggie version, i will eat one piece of fish. But thats me!
That being said, hells yes you can be a vegan and swallow! LOL And Humans arnt animals, and their not being harmed, so, open game!
In this sort of example, humans are not animals. They aren't killed for their meat, fur or skin. They aren't caged up while they lay eggs or milk, or pumped full of hormones, etc, in order for someone else to make a profit. If a vegan wants to ingest human bodily fluids, say, in a sexual act, that does NOT mean they are no longer vegan. Anyone accusing that person of no longer being vegan, is crazy. Not ingesting human bodily fluids is a choice you can make, but it seriously borders on extremist, if you do it in the name of veganism.
Edited to respond to your edit: The most common reasons for becoming a vegan are ethical commitment or moral convictions concerning animal rights, the environment, or human health, and spiritual or religious concerns.
Put very simply, people aren't animals. Animals can NOT make choices, speak up for themselves OR give consent. People can.
Free roaming dairy cows? Ha! Where? They are penned up and injected with hormones that makes them produce more milk, for longer periods of time than they would naturally.
The British Vegan Society says: The word "veganism" denotes a philosophy and way of living which seeks to exclude — as far as is possible and practical — all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose; and by extension, promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of humans, animals and the environment. In dietary terms it denotes the practice of dispensing with all products derived wholly or partly from animals.
Seeing as how The British Vegan Society was the first society for vegans, ever, I'd say their definition is the proper one. They clearly reference humans AND animals, which means what we already knew - people aren't animals. Based on this definition, yes, your question is pretty far fetched.
If there is consent from one fully functional human being to another, the exchange is vegan, no matter how disgusting.
Vegan people breastfeed their babies. Would you have guessed otherwise?
Well, i think most people are vegans for moral reasons...such as chickens being kept in horrible conditions, so they wont eat eggs...You know, that kind fo thing.
I think most vegans, would have no problem morally ingest human fluids....But im not a vegan. But logically speaking, that seems fair to assume.
Good question! I didnt think it was dumb at all. Maybe more people should think outside of the box like you!

Any animal product rather intentional or not, including boday fluids which have enzymes and proteins counts. Even for pleasure or not. We eat fo pleasure. Therefore, you are not a vegan by definition. Could we get into a "strong vegan" vs "weak vegan? Yes. I guess we could. I think you should go vegetarian and have some milk and eggs.
i don't get your question the difference from that is it hurts cows when the get the milk out of them like they can't walk after a while
I think the big difference is that it's a consensual act. I mean, you come into contact with human bodily fluid when you kiss another adult, or when you kiss a scrape on your kid's knee, or you breastfeed a baby, or even sexual acts... those are all vegan activities... this question is far from something nobody has ever considered, it's been asked time and time again in this category.
I think the main issue here is consent. If the human giving their bodily fluids has consented to do so and is not being forced to do so then yes it is vegan safe.
I don't think the animals in question mind a bit. There would be an abundance of volunteers for this kind of "animal abuse".
