Safe Snacks?!

Question: What are some safe snacks that i can eat.?

Answers: What are some safe snacks that i can eat.?

There are a lot of vegetarian snacks. "Hidden words" to look out for include (but are not limited to):
Rennet
Ambergris
Carmine/Cochineal (I don't know if this would be considered vegetarian. It's crushed red beetles. Do vegetarians refrain from eating bugs?)
Carbamide
Gelatin (duh)
Lard
Pepsin
Shellac (in some candies...maybe only in the UK? Again, from a bug, so I don't know if that's considered non-vegetarian or just non-vegan)
Tallow (if it says specifically, "Vegetarian Tallow", then obviously it's OK)
Urea

Safe snacks? Safe from what? :)

If you mean vegetarian or vegan snacks, you can try:

- pita chips and hummus
- apple slices and peanut butter
- trail mix
- fruit smoothies
- home-made vegan cookies
- sweet potato chips
- vegetables and vegan dip (you can mix silken tofu, some lemon juice and a dry vegan onion soup mix and it'll be a great onion dip)

There are so many...just check out a local Whole Foods or the organic section of your grocery store. I just tried Back to Nature sandwich cookies. They taste just like Oreos, but no animal products and they're all natural (no refined sugars or partially-hydrogenated oils).

Broccoli and Lettis and Apples and Grapes and Potatoes and
Oranges and Cucumber and Asparagus and Peaches.
