Where to buy organic toddler clothing?!

Question: Typically, run-of-the-mill chain stores don't offer organic clothing options. You can try to find a vegan or health food store in your community that might have organic clothes. There is a vegan store about 20 minutes from my house that has organic hemp shirts and organic cotton sweatshirts and shirts. I bought a hemp shirt but it makes me itchy so I don't wear it often, it was kind of a trial purchase; the cotton sweatshirts are great.

Wal-Mart is actually the leading purchaser of organic cotton, and I have seen organic pajamas and shirts at a local Wal-Mart, but they seemed to be for older teens and adults. You might want to ask a Wal-Mart manager if they have the option of ordering and stocking organic children's clothes as well; oftentimes stores have something available to them but aren't ordering it because they don't know if the public wants it.

If you can't find any local stores, you might try online.

What a F... ! Your child eats the clothes too...

i've seen a lot of organic toddler clothing at markets. i went to the city once, errr new york city, and there were a couple markets with artisty booths and such. a couple of them had organic baby clothing. also, when i go to ithaca for the farmer's market, there will be a couple vendors with organic baby clothing. i'd say to just look out for things like that.

If you go to babycenter.com, there is a selection under the baby clothing for eco-friendly baby clothes.
