Vegetarian eating out.?!
Answers: I have been thinking about becomming vegetarian for a while and finally decieded to actually become one. I want to know what I can order besides salads and veggie burgers
There are many options, it depends on where you go. There are plenty of vegetarian options at most Indian, Thai, Mexican,Chinese and Italian restaurants. If there isn't something on the menu that really sounds good, most places are more than willing to make a veggie stir fry over rice or pasta, or a pasta and marinara or olive oil/garlic sauce. A lot of places are offering a wider variety, and are more open to special request. All you have to do is ask, just let your server know you are vegetarian....ask what the soup base is, ask for suggestions....usually they are very helpful. You aren't limited to salad and veggie burgers....beans, rice, noodles and pasta, vegetables....sauces, soups.....there are plenty of options.
veggie lasanya, rice, veggie soup, perogies, cassorole, many things!!
Alot of restaurants now have Tabouli dishes. Try it, you'll love it!

Most places do a vegetarian option nowadays. I normally eat pizza, pasta, fajitas, deep fried brie/halloumi, chinese curry, veggie sushi, quorn, veggie burgers, salads, the list goes on!
non meat chili, rice and beans, potatoes, all vegetable soups, bean burrito, many vegetable dishes in a Chinese restaurant, many vegetable dishes in Indian restaurants
Vegetarian "eating out" is, for all intents and purposes, impossible; Anything made with flour, wheat, rice, commercially-harvested vegetables, or the ubiquitous "corn-oil" always contains small (but measurable) levels of insect parts, and insects are not "vegetarian"!
vegetarian can eat a lot at restaurants.
most restaurants even have menus for vegetarians.
you can try to eat pastas, pizzas, baked potatoes, soups, wraps, burritos (bean), and a lot of other stuff.
it really depends on the theme of the restaurant.
like you cant expect to find anything at a Countries BBQ or Red Lobster.
just stick with restaurants that you think will provide you with food.
vegetable spring rolls, soups, pasta, cheese/vegetarian pizza, avacado+cheese quesadillas, fries/wedges,
It's really not difficult to say "minus meat".
I'm vegan and it's still not that much harder.
Oh, and Ike? I've never heard of Country's BBQ, but there's still salads, fries, veggies, cheddar biscuits, and pasta, specifically fettuccine alfredo, and more at red lobster that is all perfectly acceptable to a l/o vegetarian.
