What are you cooking for christmas dinner this year will be veggie or meat ?!

Question: Whell in our country Christmass comes after fasting, and many people here eat a lot of rich food, like sausage and other meat and at the end of the year they end up in hospitals.
II'm not really a meat person, aldo I eat some, but I'm a sweet tooth, especially chocolate and u can find a lot of christmass recipies on the net, which are fun to make and delicious. http://allrecipes.com/Recipes/Holidays-a...

Dunno what, but it will be veggie.

my mother dose it, it be meat

I'm eating out (I'm single - live alone) and my dinner will have a combination of both meat and veggies. However, if you decide to have a Christmas inspired vegan meal, I know for a fact that there are lots of recipes out there.

Christmas dinner is always many different foods everyone one coming brings something and is always a wonderful holiday get together.

Turkey ham and beef

"Animals are God's creatures, not human property, nor utilities, nor resources, nor commodities, but precious beings in God's sight. ...

CHRISTIANS WHOSE EYES ARE FIXED ON THE AWFULNESS OF CRUCIFIXION ARE IN A SPECIAL POSITION TO UNDERSTAND THE AWFULNESS OF INNOCENT SUFFERING. THE CROSS OF CHRIST IS GOD'S ABSOLUTE IDENTIFICATION WITH THE WEAK, THE POWERLESS, AND THE VULNERABLE, BUT MOST OF ALL WITH UNPROTECTED, UNDEFENDED, INNOCENT SUFFERING."

Bacon butties.

MEAT ALL THE WAY! Veggies on the side but definitely meat will be involved.

Fowl - but hopefully not foul.

This year I'm letting the chef of La Bourgogne at my hotel in Buenos Aires do the cooking. I need a vacation!!! So I'm sure it will at least have some kind of exquisite seafood.

Looks like all of the "strict" vegetarians have taken a holiday ....

Why ask in the vegetarian section?
We are having Sauerbraten mit Kartoffelklossen. That's potato dumplings. And the gravy thickened with ginger snaps.
There will be veggies. Fried cabbage, acorn squash and broccoli corn casserole. Homemade bread and mincemeat pie, maybe pecan pie with loads of whipped cream.
My daughter was vegetarian for two years. She got angry with me for making Sauerbraten, she has not been vegetarian since.

My mother is doing roast pork, red cabbage, roast potatoes, mushrooms and gravy. Typical Latvian fare would be goose, but two people with small appetites cannot manage a goose, and to our opinion are not so good cold.

My s/o and I are cooking together at our hideaway--- A nice turtle soup laced with Bodegas Maestro Sierra Oloroso Extra Viejisimo sherry, mixed greens and almond/rasberry dressing, Roast wild goose, wildrice, oyster, portobello and currant stuffing, broad beans, glazed carrots, 2 wines with the meal then .... Italian ice sorbet, pecan pie, and some fine Argentinian coffee. Only 7 of us and it will be my first Christmas in 8 years that I haven't been on duty!!!!

There will be a turkey and everything else that goes with it for my relatives, my children and myself are lacto/ovo vegetarians....so there will be homemade shells and cheese, lasagna with marinara and ricotta/mozzarella, Lots of vegetable choices, a spanish rice and beans, and a very yummy feta/tomato/black bean/corn salad.

my aunt cooks.....but im a vegetarian. so i only eat the sides...aka mashes potatoes, corn, and cranberry sauce =)
