I have been a vegetarian for 2 years. I want to become a Vegan. Should i do it?!

Question: A lot of people have told me it is unhealthy. Is it unhealthier? I already don't drink milk, eat eggs, and i stopped eating cheese. I also stay away from sour cream. I can't get myself to give away butter quite yet, but I am trying. Any tips on how i can make it easier?

If the only dairy item you eat is butter, there are vegan margarinese out there. Earth Balance is a great spread for bread, for putting on potatoes, etc. Willow Run makes sticks that you can use in baking. If you go vegan, you will have to be more vigilant and avoid dairy and eggs in foods you eat.

You are most of the way there. Whether you give up butter and expand your decision to your lifestyle is entirely up to you.

If you don't eat dairy, your already a vegan.

Some vegans are determined to stop animal abuse, going green, and being a better spiritual intellectual.

look for and butter substitutes and lean more towards foods that you can put on other condements(ex: toast.. you can put on cream cheese peanut butter or jelly)

If you need to ask if you should do it, you clearly don't do much thinking for yourself. If you want to do it, you'll educate yourself on what it entails and do it without needing a fan club.
