Most veg people don't tell people that they are murderers, you f*cking morons.

Sorry, hell of stupid answers up there.

They suffer from MAJOR ignorance and think that all vegetarians preach and whine and moan all the time about what other people are eating.

How STUPID do you have to be to make such a generalization and not realize that most of the vegetarians that they've met didn't make it obvious that they are one?!?!?!

i eat meat but respect your decision not to, i think its great

Well you should'nt wave you bits of cucumber at us!

We will when you stop banging on about meat being murder.

I have no problem with vegetarians you can eat all the veg you can for all I care, people look down on what they don't know thats maybe something to do with it.

I was unaware of this battle.

I eat meat, my girlfriend doesn't. We manage to live alongside one another without struggle or rancour. I do eat less meat than perhaps I would otherwise, but I feel in no way constrained from having a 'Barnsley Chop' if I so wish.

This needn't be a battle, so don't let any bigoted moron make it one....is my advice.

i have an uncle who is a vegetarian. just because his eating habits r different doesnt make him a bad person. it doesnt matter if they wave meet at you. steal it and give it to charity.lol

I have never done that to a vegetarian i had a close frined who was a vegan and another a vegetarian and I was so respectfull and never ate meat when i was with them, I dont know anyone who would wave their meat in a vegetarians face im sorry if you have had a bad experience but not everyone is like that.

Because they are reacting to a stereotype that vegetarians are going to come and harass them for their eating habits. It's a reflection of their ignorance, nothing more.

Vegetarians can eat at basically every restaurant, and I've never criticized anyone's eating habits - with the one exception that I told my father to eat more legumes after he was told to give up red meat.

Because they immediately think we're going to preach to them so they try to get to us before we can, not realizing most of us aren't like vegetarians portrayed in the movies... and that there'd be no drama if they learned to stfu and not start with us.

Guess what, omnis? You've met WAY many more vegetarians than you think. We just have no reason to discuss it with you. However, if you go into a vegetarian forum, guess what..you're going to see a whole bunch of us. Don't like it? Stay out.

ur missin out on lovely roasts. and what about christmas , what u gona have?? roast cabbage?? enjoy then!

Because you ask questions like this...

I've noticed that too. About half of the questions in the category are people who think they are being cute by asking how to cook their lamb chops. Some people can only accept people who believe and act just like them.

Jessica, most vegetarians do not belong to PETA. You need to quit stereotyping. When I eat out, I skim the menu for a vegetarian entry and if there isn't one I get a salad. No big deal.

I think meat eaters bug vegetarians because in general, the majority of the world are meat eaters. It's human nature to talk about someone or confront someone about they're choicies because they are different. It's a stereotype, and it's different. It's like having an atheist in a christian church. ( I'm NOT saying vegetarians are atheists.)

Peace please its Christmas so all the best whatever you believe.

i completely understand where you're coming from! it irritates me to no end when my step dad asks me if i want some shrimp. and then my friend teases me by flinging chicken in my face. shes only kidding, but its still annoying. i think they just dont understand it, so they feel the need to say something about it, even if it is rude.

I know exactly what you mean. A group of my friends go round saying "vegetarians aren't real people" at me all the time.

I think it's because they find it difficult to understand how someone can willingly give up something they really like.

I know what you mean. They somehow feel threatened by vegetarianism. I'm really relaxed about it when people offer me meat and just tell them I'm veggie, and they still get all excited and defensive.

"Meat eaters" no more taunt vegetarians than "Veggies" taunt omnivores. Your question convicts all who are open to the choices of others. People on all sides of this issue would do well to accept the choices of others without trying to change them or rubbing their noses in them. What you characterize as "stupid questions" may actually be your opening to a conversation about your choice and why you made it. Calling those who eat animal proteins and/or products "Meat Eaters" could very well be taken as offensive and lead to defensive actions such as "waving their bits of animal" at you.

Live your convictions and allow others to live theirs.

Let them rant, let them challenge you, they have a right to just as you have a right to defend yourself.

Most of us at one time in our life ate meat, you have to remember that. And you probably looked at changing your diet in a critical way, as you should. You're questioning what has become a norm to you, so it's understandable that you might be a bit critical.

If I hadn't asked questions and challenged the animal rights philosophy, I might have never became vegan.

So meat eaters, bring it on! =)

I totally agree that its stupid for people to taunt others just because of a life choice. You do what you want, thats it. Not everyone is that infantile and most of us respect what other believe in. Im happy if your'e happy.

Yes please - eat what you want - just please don't tell us - because generally your breath stinks.

your decision.
no idea why veggies rant and rave all the time.

I don't really care what you eat. So, have whatever you want. Just don't make such a fuss over it.
It doesn't have to be made such a big deal.

Personally, I couldn't stand eating veggies and tasteless stuff like that all the time. Veggies are good every now and then, but not for every meal.

What Do You Expect?? They're A Bunch Of Carnivores!

PLEASE....
YOU ALL COME IN OUR FOOD AND DRINK SECTION THUMBS DOWNING
OVER WHAT TO SERVE, WE ASK
...... TURKEY, PRIME RIB OR HAM FOR CHRISTMAS
AND YOU WOULD THINK
WE WANTED TO EAT YOUR FIRST BORN!!!!
NOT YOU PERSONALLY HON
BUT SOME OTHER
VEGAN TROLLS!!!
HEY...... YOU ASKED!!!

I NEVER hear a meat eating person bothing a veggie!

Its the VEGGIES who feel the need to tell everyone they are veggies! Why? Meat eating people dont go round broadcasting it!!

because we have to drive for five times as long to find a restaurant and listen to your whining the whole way over there, and if we cook food at a party we have to make stuff special, and wait twice as long for your special orders to be made. It's like having a friend with a disability that they choose to have, seemingly to piss us off. Thats why some of us have found sponsers, for every animal you don't eat we eat three. sounds like a good solution to me! By the way I'm eating ribs right now they are sooooo good!!! And I have six more racks of them in the refrigerator! I ate ribs last night! I loooove ribs!

no offense, but it's almost like hearing that a girl has gone lesbian. God meant us to eat meat (but that is your choice). No I won't hold that against you. Ok so maybe I will

Actually, isn't it the other way around? From what I've seen, vegans preach to the meat-eaters and protest for animal rights. For example, PETA. Everyone knows what terrorism they've already done. It's always the vegan/vegetarian that ruins dinner or a night out by pointing up their chin and saying "Oh, I don't eat meat." They act better than everyone else. It must be because since they can't make any human friends, they confide in the animals. They're lonely and starving. I almost feel sorry for them.

Eat whatever you want but don't get online with your preferences. It's private, like religion, politics, etc.
