Glycerin and Glycerine?!

Question: What is glycerine and why can't you use it, and what is glycerine and why can you use it? I am a lacto-ovo animal lover vegetarian, and was wondering what the difference is and that way I know what I can use, and what to avoid.

Glycerine is a type of soap that is clear and is usually good for people who have really sensitive skin. And as long as you buy from a cruelty free company like The Body Shop, I'll be okay. Here is a list of companies that DO test on animals:

I'm glad you've made the choice to help animals, like myself!

Glycerine, is the 4th song of some kind of rock group. it can also be a diesel fuel source.

glycerin however is an emmollient.(moisturizer) much more to be succesfully used over petroleum products which can be drying. Use them in your car.

Glycerin can be animal, vegetable, or synthetic.

Glycerin and Glycerine are the same thing. Sorry, I wish there was indeed an easy way to determine the difference.

It can be derived from either animal or vegetable sources, and there's no strict way to determine which source has been used. Unless of course, the company has a commitment to using vegetable sources only.

You will also see "gelatin" and "gelatine" on packaging, and again they are the same thing as well.
