My florida avocodo is brown inside. Can I still eat it?!

Question: Sounds like it's way past it's prime. Once the fruit starts to peel away from the skin and there are brown streaks through it, you need to eat it as soon as possible as it starts to get old.

If it sprouts you can plant it and get a cool house plant! I asked an avocado question a few days ago and I found that out.

You definitely do not wanna eat it! It turns brown when it's too ripe or if it's exposed to oxygen (kinda like an apple) and it ruins the flavor

Brown avocado, yuck.

I know that its definitely supposed to be green inside

some avocados that I get are occasionally grey inside, and I don't eat those, ( I did once and it dint taste great)

I would imagine that brown is not good. maybe try abit to see , have water standing by incase its foul.
