If humans were meant to eat meat why don't they eat all meat raw?!

Question: We are not cavemen anymore. We have evolved into civilized humans. (well some of us have)

Answers: We are not cavemen anymore. We have evolved into civilized humans. (well some of us have)

because we discovered fire and its many uses.

We are smart enough to realize that uncooked meat contains bacteria and can make you sick, we have the ability to cook it and add wonderful flavors and seasonings. If a lion had the ability to cook their zebra with a little salt and pepper on the grill I bet they would do it all the time.

I have eaten many differant meats raw. Just today I had tuna sashimi for lunch.

I have eaten raw beef, horse, whale and most seafood and fish.

Man discovered fire and learned that meat and vegetables tasted better when held over the flames.

Which did they do first I don't have any idea.

They can't really eat a lot of meat raw anymore they have no protection against tape worms, salmonella, listeria etc. Also their canines aren't sharp like a cat's or dog's. There are raw hams that are specially cured so that omnis can eat them or if you marinate meat in a spicy oil or vinegar it can be classsed as 'cooking it'.

It is a minefield and makes me even more glad to be a vegetarian !!!

Because they aren't naturally carnivorous or omnivorous. :)

What i would like to know is, what is it in an animals biology (ie: lion) that allows it to eat raw meat and not get sick like we would?

because someone discovered bbq, and said, "w00t!"

Just like vegetables not all meats can be eaten raw. The cavemen discovered fire and started to cook their food because they liked the taste of it most likely but before that they ate raw meats. Then over years of many eating raw meat people's systems got used to it. So the people who eat meat are more used to eating cooked meat.

if we are supposed to eat beans, then why don't we eat all beans raw? and rice for that matter

Probably for the same reason we don't eat all fruits, veggies, grains or legumes raw, it makes digestion and extraction of nutrients easier.

Because we don't have to. Some meats are eaten raw. Rare steak is raw in the middle. Sushi.

Everybody who studied seriously the story of human beings should now that humans were not meant to eat meat. BUT they were not meant to eat seed and cereals as well. In fact, they were meant to eat fruits. Fire was discover in the last part of the human history and if you compare with the all track its like 1 hour ago if you considere that the all track is about 24 hours.
Your question dont prove anything in fact. The question is not "for what humans were meant" but "today, as we are civilized and a supposed advanced society, can we open our eyes and understand that the fact to be part of another species is not a reason to leave a sensitive being in hands of a slaver or murder?"

How can you be vegan if you're a Nazi?

It's not possible.

If someone is prejudiced against an entire race or ethnic group, they cannot possibly be vegan. They may call themselves vegan, but they are not.

Actually, many meat eaters consume raw or partailly cooked meat.. ever heard of steak tartare? or carpaccio? or rare steak? how about vegetarians though.. why don't you consume all vegetable ssraw and unprocessed? like tofu is processed sy beans.. can you eat the beans only instead? how about nuts? do you crack nuts with your teeth like true herbivores do? how about eating plants without cleaning? just stick your face on the ground and munch? tsk tsk.. lame attempt to be a smart ***, falls short. just an ***.. must be the lack of intelligence from the lack of protein?

The Inuit ate raw meat all the time. Their traditional diet is 90% meat, usually raw and very high in fat content. It's easier for a person to digest raw meat than most raw plant foods, especially grains.

Gross!!! good question thou.... um mm maybe because of the health regulations?!?
