If ur a vegetarian: is taking meat/chicken out food make it okay to eat?!
Answers: my friend says it's okay, but i wanted to know from u guys/gals
I do it in social situations where everyone is being served the same thing and I wouldn't have anything to eat otherwise. But, its an exception...its kind of yucky for me to think of meat juices on my food.
So, to answer your question-its up to your individual feelings on "meat germs".
Meat juice is also meat.
No, if you're going strictly vegetarian the food cannot be cooked with meat in it.
no. i dont think its ok.
"vegetarian" is just a label. if you don't want to eat the meat -don't. you are obsessing too much. eat a balanced diet with lots of protein and you'll be fine.
There are no set rules about being a vegetarian. If you do it, and it's wrong are you going to get kicked out of some kind of vegetarian club? Doubtful. Don't be a vegetarian because of what people say or think about you. Do it for yourself. If you don't like meat, don't eat it. If it doesn't bother you to pick the meat out of your food and eat it, then go ahead and do it. If it bothers you, don't do it. Go with what you feel comfortable with, not with what someone else tells you is okay and not okay.
do you have someone to eat the meat that you pick out? not only is it a no, but it is just either wasting food, or encouraging someone other than you to eat the meat you would have eaten which isn't actually reducing meat consumption. So unless you are being vegetarian soley for your health it doesnt really make any sense. plus there are meat juices and your bound to end up eating a little actual meat accidentally.
No, it isn't. The foods have blended.
It depends on how deeply you feel on the subject.
I won't eat anything that was cooked with meat, or anything to do with animals.
Its how you feel, there are not rules you follow, you make your own rules.
So was your "question" just a way to instigate?
Personally I wouldn't even consider doing this - but there is no right or wrong - it is up to YOU what you do, and how you eat.
No, if the food has been blended with meat or meat drippings or juice it is not vegan or vegetarian.
Like using beef bouillion in soups.
Or picking the egg our of deviled eggs.
My feeling is that you used the question as a forum to attack/belittle/abuse people who live differently from you. Why would you feel compelled to do that?
I won't do that to you.
Continue to eat meat. It is fine with me.
I will continue to avoid it if possible.
I do think it is very sad what animals go through in the meat industry, whether they "feel" it or not.(They do.) It is a blood/death/violent industry, and we are all what we eat.
I choose my food carefully. Other people don't.
We are all going to die; mine will be a surprise. Yours will likely be heart disease or cancer.
If YOU'RE okay with it, then it's fine. Most of us aren't, though.
No its not, the animal has still been killed, its not ok.
You should complain as much as possible.
I wouldn't do it but I only can answer for myself.
i try to avoid eating things that i'd have to pick meat off of or out of but sometimes it is necessary if there is nothing else available. do what you feel comfortable with, but i would recommend doing that as little as possible.
I did that for the first maybe two months that I was vegetarian because I was too meek to speak up for myself. After awhile I realized that was pretty much the same thing as eating meat and if I meant to be a true vegetarian, it was out of the question. It's no different than eating a soup with beef broth or making a packaged noodle dish with chicken fat in it.
