Not at all, they are very strictly against it.

Theres proof right there! ^^

You can NEVER be 100% sure, but I think this is positively solid proof.

If I remember correctly - it has been a while since I shopped there - they advertise that none of their products are tested on animals.

Well, I have wondered the same question...their products state on the packaging that "this finished product is not tested on animals"...I see that as yes, the chemicals they use in their products have been tested on animals before the final products ingrediences are put together fo rthe final product.

no they don't! it's written in some of their products.

The Body Shop doesn't.

BUT Body Shop is owned by L'Oreal, and L'Oreal tests their products extensively on animals. So, though the store's products haven't been tested on animals, ultimately, you're supporting L'Oreal's animal testing by your purchase.

The Body Shop has been bought by L'Oreal - a company that does animal testing. However, The Body Shop's products are not tested on animals.

They don't test on animals, but as they refuse to tell the Vegan Society (or anyone else for that matter) whether their products are animal-derived or not, it's likely that they do use animal-derived ingredients in at least some of their products. Their refusal to be upfront about their ingredients also suggests that they're not as ethical or animal-friendly as their PR department would like you to think they are.

Not at all.
Anita Roddick (the founder) is one of the FEW people in the makeup industry that is strongly against animal-testing. She has done many protests against it too!

Anita Roddick died on September this year
Anita Roddick left her legacy well running after she died. The Body Shop still practises her beliefs on non animal testing. Shes also influenced many people too

L'oreal bought Body Shop .. and loreal do test on animals. they say that no body shop products will not be tested on animals because of Anitas legacy but big corps like Loreal arent the best truth speakers.

But, it is owned by L'Oreal, they test there products on animals. You can't be sure.

But, on every product the have there is a sign stating that they don't test on animals.

Hope I have helped!

of course not! plus don't believe that website. it's a fake.

No it does not. The Body Shop was one of the pioneers of use of cruelty-free products.
Anita Roddick, before she died, sold the company to L'oreal, who DO test on animals,(God only knows why she did),defeating the whole object.

No! Their products are not tested on animals.

No, their products are not tested on animals. Try a different brand. You want to make sure they are safe before you use them.

No, they do not test their products on animals nor will they ever test their products on animals.

no but the company that now owns them l'oriel does
