Congrats to your sister for being vegetarian. I became one when I was 12 too.
If you want to go vegetarian too and feel that it's the right thing to do, then go for it! Make sure you do your research before going into this. Sometimes people jump right into it and end up not getting enough protein and nutrients. I recommend slowly cutting meat out of your diet instead of doing it right away. Replace meat with fruits, vegetables, beans, nuts, grains, and different types of foods that will give you all the vitamins that you will need to keep a healthy and balanced diet.
The first 2 weeks will be hard, but after a month it will start to become easier and easier to not eat any meat and after a while you won't crave it at all. If you decide to go through with this, then I wish you the best of luck. In the end being vegetarian will benefit you in a great way!

Yeah. Give it a try for a month.
Good luck.

depends.if you want to be a vegetarian, try it! though since you wont get the vitamins from meat, try eating more vegetables/fruits...
good luck!

Do you want to? It would be a nice supportive thing to do for your sister.

Don't let your sister sway your opinion. But you might as well try it if you are curious.

Also, eat lots of tofu for protein.

No one else's opinion matters. Only you can make this decision.

If you want to try vegetarianism, then try it. It certainly can't hurt.

If you feel like it's something you want to do, then try it. Eat vegetarian for a week, and see how you feel. If you like it, try setting a new goal for a month, etc., etc.

Vegetarianism is a wonderful choice and is well worth converting to, but it can be difficult in the beginning. It's best to do something like converting to vegetarianism gradually. Some people will compromise and not eat any meat other than seafood or poultry or something along those lines. This may be easier to do than completely striking meat from your diet. Generally speaking, vegetarians tend to be healthier and less stressed. The greatest problems I have experienced as a vegetarian are that often people find it difficult to accept that I am vegetarian and that it can be difficult to find vegetarian dishes when eating out.

If you want to, look it up first to make sure you know what types of foods you need to get the right nutrients, if you do become one, anyway. I'm a fourteen year old vegetarian and it really isn't that hard, I feel better, I'm healthier, and I lost weight. You could give vegetarianism a try for a month or two, you stop craving meat after awhile. That would be a really nice thing to do for your sister, you sound like a good sibling. Good luck :0)

YOU CAN IF YOU WANT TO BUT WHY IS THE QUESTION ? IS IT FOR A HEALTHIER DIET ? IS IT FOR PEER PRESSURE ? JUST FOR A CHANGE ? MY ADVICE IS TO EASE INTO IT , A LITTLE AT A TIME CUT BACK ON MEAT AND DAIRY , WHILE ADDING FRUIT AND VEGGIES TO YOUR LIST . DON'T TELL ANYONE ABOUT WHAT YOUR DOING UNTIL YOU ARE SURE THAT'S RIGHT FOR YOU , THEN IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT GO BACK TO EATING WHAT YOU LIKE . AND DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU ANY FRUIT OR VEGGIE IS HEALTHIER -------- UNLESS IT IS ORGANIC . IF IT IS NOT ORGANIC THEN IT IS FULL OF TOXINS FROM THE FERTILIZER , PESTICIDES , HERBICIDES

The decision is entirely yours. I would suggest you look into a flexitarian diet. It's mostly a plant based diet that allows for some meat consumption.
