Would this help me lose weight? (Please consider looking at)(for vegans and vegetarians)?!

Question: Well I am already a vegetarian and I was wondering if I go vegan for a week and then go vegetarian for a week, and continue repeating this pattern. Will I lose weight?

Ohh yeah also can I eat these foods when I am a Vegan;
White Rice
Tofu
Totilla
Bread

Serious answers only please
Also don't convince me to change my habits.

Thnx,

Um, I think I would be starving eating that.
Only two ways to lose weight (I assume you mean extra fat).
Eat less, or exercise more.
I say, eat more and exercise more.
I became vegan for the purpose of of athletics.
Being a bicycle racer, I neither lost nor gained weight switching to vegan diet as I was already at optimal weight. No matter what you eat, intensive exercise will put you to optimal weight. But, on a bad diet you won't get very far.

losing weight depends more on what you DO eat than what you DON'T eat.. There are plenty of vegan and vegetarian "junk foods" try to make a high percentage (over 60%) of what you eat raw (like fruits and veggies)

And you must exercise

vegans can eaqt white rice and tofu, for sure
tortillas and bread are okay if they don't have whey, lard, gelatin, milk, cassien, mono and dyclycerides, honey, or any other animal products in them

well if you are a vegetarian i think u will lose weight faster because i know for a fact im not a vegetarian and eating meat helps u gain lots of weight so i do think u will lose weight faster

You will lose much more weight by eliminating sugar and white starches every other week than by eliminating dairy and eggs.

It seems like an awful lot of simple carbs to me... How about brown rice and vegetables and tofu? That would probably be more healthy for you.

You will lose muscle, not fat because your planned diet has almost NO nutritional value. White rice, tortillas and bread are processed refined carbs that provide your body with little nutrition and lots of empty calories.

be careful.. losing weight does not mean healthy or losing fat... remember that fat is lighter than water or muscles. If you work out, you may actually gain weigt but lose fat and look slimmer/trimmer. Include a workout/exercise regimen with your diet...
