I've been a vegetarian for two weeks now and....?!

Question: I haven't really been as strict as i should have been. I'm lacto-ovo so i eat dairy and eggs. I know I've probably non-vegetarian foods but i just wanted to get used to not eating meat. I want to know of the foods I can't eat. I know not rice kripes because they have traces of beef in them so what other things can't I eat

The reason you probably say that Rice Krispies have beef in them is because they are made with marshmallows, and marshmallows are made with gelatin (which are made with animal bones). So anything with marshmallows or gelatin (Jell-O, etc) would be non-vegetarian.

I think you should look through this site, it lists hidden animal ingredients in food and everyday things:

pepperoni pizza.

rice crispies have beef in them? that's news to me. wtf is beef doing in rice? anyway, i just dont eat meat or fish. basically anything that's been alive.

What exactly is the point of being a vegetarian
I dont see why you cant just eat meat
It is the natural way of life

You are doing well to start out. A good rule is: " don't eat it if it has a mouth". That will let you to continue to eat dairy and egg products, and get by at most restaurants, dinner parties, etc and find something to eat.
Egg and dairy are in a LOT of foods, things that you wouldn't even dream of. Think bread, pizza, cake, cookies, salads, dips, and tons of home-made stuff.

Its relatively easy to see the meat in different foods at buffets and parties, so just avoid those foods. Look at the ingredients when you shop. Especially soups, crackers, dressings, sauces, dips.

Get used to it this way for a while, maybe even a couple years, before deciding to skip the eggs and dairy. In the meantime, look for only organic eggs and dairy. Shop at the local organic and natural food stores. See if there is a farmers market in you area. Try to buy foods that are grown or produced locally. You'll help the environment and your body.
