Are there any FRENCH vegan recipes?
Actually I would like any recipes, but partically french.
Lately I have been eager to try expereiencing different cultures and I am vegan. I know there are vegan choices evrywhere, but they are very hard to find.
Answers: I just became vegan for New Years Resolution.

Vegan crepes
1/4 cup raw cashew nuts, and
1 1/2 cups water or soymilk
1/2 cup quick oats
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon apple juice concentrate
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup tofu (makes the crepes richer and more tender) (optional)
1. Blend ingredients together about 1 minute.
2. Lift preheated nonstick skillet from burner and pou 1/4 cup portion, tipping in a circular motion so crepe flows large and thin Use medium-high temperature until dry on top (about 1 minute), then loosen gently with spatula and turn, cooking the other side for about 30 seconds. Stack finished crepes on a flat plate and cover with a cloth to keep warm.
Vegan French Toast
1 cup vanilla non-dairy milk
2 tbsp flax meal
1?2 cup silken firm tofu
1?4 tsp cinnamon
1?8 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
1?8 tsp sea salt
1 tsp canola oil
8 - 9 slices bread of choice (see note)
2 - 3 tsp canola oil (or more, if needed, for frying)
Using a handblender or in a blender, purée the non-dairy milk, flax meal, tofu, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and canola oil until very smooth and thick (it will get thicker as it sits a little while and the flax absorbs some of the liquid). Dip a slice of bread in the batter. Turn over and let it sit for a few moments to soak, then remove and place on a plate until ready to fry. In a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, add the canola oil when hot and reduce heat to low/medium-low. Fry bread for 4-6 minutes on each side, until lightly brown (try to flip only once so that the
batter will set and brown nicely on the bread). Serve with pure maple syrup.
Make some wholesome, french fried, carrots.

I'm sorry I don't have any specific recipes to share with you. However, this site should be a really good resource for you.
This site includes a collection of vegan and vegetarian recipes submitted by users.
I haven't found another site like it that lets users post their pictures of the food along with their comments.
It's really great.
I search for a recipe and always read everyone's comments and look at the photos before I try out a recipe.
It's really helpful to read where some people had problems with a recipe and what substitutions can be made to fix it or just alter it a bit for a different taste...
Good luck!
