Sources of protein:
Tempeh
Tofu
Seitan
Beans
TVP (texturized vegetable protein)
Nuts
Seeds
Whole grain pasta
Whole grains (like quinoa)
Sprouted grain breads (Ezekiel 4:9 is a good source)
Soy products (soy milk, meat substitute products)
Eggs
Dairy
tofu, and edamame (soy beans).
legumes (beans), tofu and nuts --- (no milk or eggs if you are a vegan)
pasta has very very little protein.
butter has none.
milk is a good source.
eggs are a great source.
beans are good too.
others are: peas, lentils, nuts, seeds, cheese, yogurts.
bread contains some protein too. be sure to include protein twice a day!
Beans are your best bet. Kidney beans are really high in protein. Or you can get a protein supplement. From your question I am not sure what your goal is as a vegetarian. Many vegetarians would consider milk, eggs, and butter to be no-no's because they come from the meat family. Pasta has no protein. And just out of curiosity, how much butter do you think you would have to eat to get enough protein in your diet? I think that it would be a lot!
peanut butter contains a lot of protein. When I was little I refused to eat meat or vegetables, the doctor's told my mom to make me eat plenty of peanut butter and I would be fine!
Dried beans and rice. Think broccoli and spinach are high in protien too.
1st of all i thouht vegetarians ate fish cuz they claim that they do not feel pain. answer 2 ur question, u have tofu, soy beans, nuts ...
eggs r very high with protein & milk, cheese mild oh yea especially cottage cheese very high protein
Though you are a vegetarian, you can still get a lot of proteins.
Soyabean and lentils are excellent sources of proteins for full vegetarians. Also, milk and beans can help you! But, pasta and butter, sorry! These provide taste and oodles of fats! You are a full vegetarian. You can't eat eggs to get proteins. Hope my answer helps you!
Cheese. It's very high in protein. Or Quorn, which is made out of mycoprotein.
There is a huge range of products on the market these days
peanut butter and nuts i also eat
Eggs. At least one a day. They are a great source of protein and essential fatty acids. Perhaps a boiled egg and a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast. Or a quiche for dinner or lunch.
Dairy is a good source too. If you are vegetarian, you may want to consider using full fat milk.
beans, nuts, to fu, milk
butter does not have much protein. If you're thinking about eggs: well your a vegetarian remeber? but eggs do have protein.
Whole grains, legumes, vegetables, seeds, nuts, & soy protein. Make sure to also take a vitamin to replace iron, vitamin b-12, vitamin d, calcium, & zinc.
FYI: vegetarians do NOT eat fish and they CAN eat eggs if they choose to do so. Some vegetarians eat eggs and dairy or just one of the two...if you don't eat either then you are a vegan.
