Why am I craving parsley? what is in it?!
Answers: I am not pregnant. But I am eating alot of raw parsely lately in my sandwiches. I usuallyt buy it and it dies in the fridge. What is in it?

Personally, I like it too. Maybe your body is telling you that you may be deficient in something that parsley is supplying. Could it be a vitamin K deficiency? Here is a link for that: http://www.ctds.info/vitamink.html

That's wierd since I think Parsley has no taste. Do you eat any other greens? If not, you may need the iron in the chlorophyll in the Parsley. That, or it's just the taste.
It is an herb. There is nothing in it but parsley.
Parsley really is an herb and has very little nutritional value...although you may be needing some greens in your diet. Also root vegetables are very good this time of year for nutrients and vitamins.

I have heard parsley has a natural diuretic property to it, but I doubt your body would be so intrinsically fine-tuned that it would be able to self-diagnose an excess of water weight AND trigger you to crave a way to treat it... probably it's just a craving, cravings don't always mean anything (otherwise I'd be super-fat because I crave peanut butter zig zag Soy ice cream all the time, hehe).
