Where can I buy TVP?!

Question: I live in an area where there is only an IGA, a Save-A-Lot, and a Price Chopper (within a 60 mile radius). I'm not sure exactly what these are, but I'm trying a new recipe that requires TVP. What isle would I find this in? Could I find it online?

Bob's Red Mill does packaged tvp, so if any of your stores sell Bob's stuff, look there. (You can always ask someone who works there, too!) I have not seen it in a regular grocery store for at least a decade. I have seen it in the catalog Emergency Essentials. Their web site is beprepared.com

I would substitute mashed firm tofu. It is not as chewy or meaty as TVP but it tastes way better than TVP.

Are there any health food stores near you? They sometimes carry it.
