I desperately need to find a store in Richmond that sells vegetarian things!!?!

Question: I have been going to the Grocery stores in the natural food section, but no luck. I have gone to Good Foods Grocery store. They had tempeh, and tofu, and soy chicken, tofurky. But I really need to find stuff like vegetarian sausage. I also need spices like "file". I know about happycow, but I do not want to get a membership.

You should try Ellwood Thompson's. They have a very large variety of natural and vegetarian products. I shop at Ukrops and Kroger all of the time and I never have a problem finding vegetarian food items. I am not sure about the particular spices, though. Ellwood Thompson's would be a good start, though. It's located at the corner of Ellwood and Thompson streets right before you get into Carytown.
