I wnated to make something new you knwo a good easy but delicious rercpie that I may like?!


Question: This is more just mixing than cooking, but is very very good (and good for you!)


Very Low Fat Corn and Bean Salad

2 cans of corn, drained
2 cans of black beans (I had one black and one red, mixed them and it was still good), drained and rinsed
1/3 c chopped onions (red onions are best)
1 tbs olive oil
3 tbs lime juice (I have used lemon, still good)
little salt and pepper
fresh cilantro or dried coriander
1/2 tsp cumin

Mix all up and let get yummy in the fridge for a few hours or overnight.

okay before answering that, what are you in the mood for, sweet food, spicy food? soup? light meal? three course meal for dinner? your question is very common, i am always looking for something simple and new, but you have to narrow it down. - let me know, i can give suggestions.

Lentil Vegetable Soup
Ingredients
1 cup rice
1/2 cup parsley
3 cloves garlic
28 oz tomatoes, canned
1 cup, chopped carrots
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup, chopped onion
1 1/2 cups dried lentils
1 g bay leaf
1 tsp, ground oregano
1 tsp, ground thyme
1 tsp, ground basil
1 tsp salt
1 dash pepper
2 tbsps cider vinegar
10 cups water
6 cubes boullion
Directions
Boil 10 cups of water.
Add bouillion and stir until dissolved.
Add canned tomatoes, lentils, rice, onion, celery, garlic, bay leaf, basil, oregano, and thyme.
Stir well and bring to boil. Cover and lower heat. Simmer for 45 minutes.
Stir in parsley, vinegar, salt and pepper. Remove from heat, discard bay leaf and serve.

i see being a vegan doesn't help you spell at all....
