What are some of the side effects, that could come from eating pork meat?!

Question: A delicious taste, a full stomach, and LOWER Cholesterol than from BEEF.

Now I recongnize and respect the rights of Vegetarians and Vegans to NOT eat any meat products, but I RESENT those who attempt to SLANDER meat.

I raise turkeys and PIGS... ALL are clean. My pigs eat NO garbage or fecal matter... we spend HOURS a day keeping their pens clean.

YES, pork raised poorly or wild WILL contain parasites

Its fatty so it could make you fat, it could run up your bad cholesterol level (LDL), and if its not cooked enough it can transmit trichinosis (sp?), a parasite that is very bad for you.

some people get migranes from pork...

Pork is bad for you and makes you sick. Pork comes from pig. Pig is now eating trash and they killing the pig but it still has the trash that the pig ate in the stomach. Trust me pork is really bad for you :)

The worst side effect is that it is so tasty you will want to eat it every day.

To poster above.
Pigs don't eat trash, not in my country anyway.

I suppose you think that chicken eggs are full of insects since chooks like to eat them?

Nothing if it is cleaned, cooked thoroughly, and it is well portioned. But if you eat too much of pork such as bacon there would be too much sodium and fat intake and if it wasn't cooked correctly there could be a chance of getting tape worms but some people actually do eat raw pork

you can buy pork that is very lean....it's the other white meat!

Immediate effects? Not a whole lot. Maybe a bum stomach from uncooked pork, but with today's standards, some pork can be enjoyed "pink". there is even a small village in Yunnan, (or Hunan) China where the local delicacy is raw pork. Long term? Excessive consumption may lead to obesity and it's attendant illnesses.

it has a ton of bad fats in it!

the pig would die.
